Graveyard Keeper 2 Locations & Map
Official screenshots and developer material already establish several Graveyard Keeper 2 areas before launch, including the Garden, Town Workshop and Port Area, while the September devlog confirms a larger world and Milestone fast travel between unlocked locations. This page separates screenshot-observed areas from broader announced location types.
Location evidence table
| Area | Evidence type | What is actually known | Visual | What is not known |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Garden | Shown in official screenshot | A named outdoor production/location space on the Steam shot | A028 | Routes, crops, NPCs |
| Town Workshop | Shown in official screenshot | Visible location label on an underground production hall | A024 | Meter meaning, station outputs |
| Port Area | Shown in official screenshot | Visible Town/waterfront location evidence | A025 | Quests, loot, NPC schedules |
| Southern outskirts | Confirmed in official text | Sep 2 bigger-world description | A019 optional | Map dimensions |
| Another village / tavern / forest / swamp / church / graveyard | Confirmed in official text | Named location types in the Sep 2 devlog | tavern shot A017 | Coordinates, unlock order |
Map vs fast travel
Three related ideas are easy to mash together and should stay distinct:
- Publisher material says there is a convenient city map.
- Official UI visibly includes a Map tab.
- Milestones are the confirmed replacement for Teleportstone and provide fast travel between locations after those locations are unlocked.
A map tab is not automatically fast travel. Milestones are not proven to be infinite, free, or available from minute one. Unlock costs and the full Milestone list are not announced.

How to use this page on day one
Before launch, a locations page is only honest if it is an evidence catalogue. Garden, Town Workshop and Port Area are places you can already point to on official pictures. Southern outskirts, another village, a tavern, a forest, a swamp, a church and a graveyard are place-types the September 2 devlog is willing to name. A city map is a publisher-announced navigation tool. A Map tab is a screenshot-observed HUD entry. Milestones are the confirmed fast-travel replacement for Teleportstone after a location is unlocked. If you arrived here looking for coordinates, walking routes, chest maps or NPC clocks, those things are not in the locked sources, and inventing them would make this page worse than a blank wiki.
The practical pre-release use is identification. If a trailer or store shot shows an underground hall with a Town Workshop label, you now know that label is real. If a shot shows water and cranes, Port Area is the current official name to file it under. If a shot shows planting beds beside production, Garden is the locked Steam evidence. If a UI shows a stone and a prompt to travel, the September post wants you to call that a Milestone, not a Teleportstone.
Expanded world
The September 2 devlog describes a bigger world including southern outskirts plus another village, tavern, forest, swamp, church and graveyard. Traders bring foreign goods. Refugees seek homes in the zombie-infested Town. That is world-breadth evidence. It is not a walkthrough of how you walk from the graveyard to the swamp, and it is not a loot table.
Named world types, without a fake atlas
Southern outskirts are the directional expansion the September post is willing to specify. Another village means the Town is not the only settlement. A tavern is both a location type and a screenshot. Forest and swamp tell you the sequel is not only cobblestones. A church and a graveyard outside the player’s home cemetery tell you sacred ground and burial ground exist as world objects, not only as the player’s workplace. Traders and refugees are why those places are not wallpaper: goods and people move.
Fast travel sits on top of that list rather than replacing it. You still have to unlock a location before a Milestone will take you there. Publisher city-map language is how you look at the Town. The Map tab is how the HUD admits a map exists. Keep those three sentences separate and this page stays more useful than a “full map coming soon” stub.
